  1. Composition of groups :
    1. Minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 members.
    2. b. All bonafide Rotaractors members must be certified by the Rotaract Club President and sponsoring Rotary Club President.
    3. Groups may be all boys, all girls or mixed.
    4. Professional dancers or regularly appearing on T. V. are disqualified to join the contest.
    5. Dance groups found to have performed their dance routine with professional dancer/s will face outright disqualification.
    6. A professional dancer is someone who is financially compensated for his/her dance performance either in a private or public venue.
  2. Maximum of four (4) minutes shall be allotted each group for their presentation, however each group will be given 2 minutes to prepare/set up any props or equipments needed on stage.
  3. Strictly no pyrotechnics of any sort shall be allowed in any presentation.
  4. The groups contest piece should contain at least 35% modern interpretation of ethnic, cultural or folk dance in modernized/stylized and is in the fast modern tempo.
  5. ALL DANCE GROUP PARTICIPANTS SHALL NOT BEAR ANY ROTARACT CLUB NAME MARKINGS ON THEIR COSTUME WEARABLES, PROPS AND THE LIKES, this will ensure a fair and unbiased audience participation and appreciation reflective of a group’s performance. Any markings found will have demerits on the group’s total score.
  6. Due to the limited space venue of the Lobby of World Trade Center, dance group participants are advised to inspect the dance area and come in their performance attire/costumes.
  7. The OktoberDANCEfest is exclusively for the Rotaractors of District 3810 and should have a sponsoring Rotary Club from the District. Interactors are welcomed to join but the full responsibility of their welfare is with their sponsoring Rotary Club. The organizers will not be held liable for their well being.
